I was born and raised in rural Northeast Ohio and I graduated from Bowling Green State University (ay ziggy zoomba!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. I lived in Kentucky for 15 years and now I'm back in Ohio with my boys, husband, and dog Alison.

Fun Facts About Me:

• I am an avid knitter. Love it. 

• I read--like, a lot. My fave authors are Barbara Kingsolver, Ann Patchett, Meg Wolitzer, Jeffrey Eugenides, Jonathan Franzen...off the top of my head

• I was the lead singer in a Led Zeppelin tribute band in college. Our name was Heartbreaker.

•  I played collegiate basketball

• I don't drink pop. It all tastes flat to me.

• Everyone in NE Ohio says that I still have a "Cincinnati accent"

• My favorite coffee shop is Arabica in downtown Willoughby
